my name is shawna henrie.

i am mom to seven babies...five humans, two canines.

this is a journal of my crazy, full life and the pretty things i make and observe.

i am a collector of all things sparkly and seashells, i believe in chinese astrology and love at first sight. 

i enjoy cooking and baking for my loved ones. if you love me, you will eat my food.

i have a weird thing for weimaraners...and a certain loyal blue dog who worked his way into my heart.

so bleudog began. to keep him alive. forever.

my journey in floral design began at a young age, watching my mother put together not only a beautiful garden, but stunning bouquets for our home. she was asked to do floral arrangements due to her good taste and design sense. as a girl, i quietly watched and adopted her interests when i grew up. i now not only create it, i photograph it...a new passion i am fine tuning and experimenting with. im currently getting educated and familiarizing myself with my friend, the camera. 

we have embarked on an intense love affair, actually. i focus on snapping photos in natural light

and natural settings, embracing the moment before me, 

and magnifying the beauty we all possess.
